The Gathering Board is a four-piece set including a large serving board and 3 ramekins: 1 large, 1 medium, and 1 small.
The pieces are glazed in Veil and each one has a hand-painted Evil Eye in our Greco Blue wash.
Evil Eyes are found in many parts of the world including Soula's ancestral home of Cyprus. It is an amulet to protect from malevolence, envy, jealousy, and evil.
This piece is versatile. Use it for a cheese or charcuterie board, as an appetizer or sushi platter, the center serving piece on your dinner table, a display piece, or Thali.
This piece was first designed for internal medicine physician and cookbook author, Dr. Sheil Shukla. Our Gathering Board is featured on the cover and in the pages of his beautiful cookbook, Plant-Based India.
